Preparations for the Open House Architecture Festival 2023 Have Begun
The Open House Architecture Festival will be held this year from October 31 to November 7, 2023. We are awaiting suggestions from individuals and institutions who wish to propose buildings to be opened and to host them.
The Open House Architecture Festival, organized by the Arkitera Architecture Center, continues this year with the support of Unigen.
Aiming to draw attention to Istanbul’s built heritage and to allow visits to buildings that are normally closed to the public, the Open House Architecture Festival will take place from October 31 to November 7, 2023.
The festival offers an important opportunity to experience the city’s cultural and architectural fabric more closely. As part of the event, buildings of historical and architectural significance in Istanbul—normally inaccessible or requiring special permission to visit—will be opened to the public.
Preparations are ongoing for the buildings to be visited during the Open House Architecture Festival. The list of buildings and tour routes will be announced in October, and registrations will open concurrently.
